Background

My name is Hilda – known as “Hilly” to many. Like many, I am a migrant from Zimbabwe, but after 3 decades in the mother city, I feel this is the place I belong. I founded Hillyhomes in 2014.  After renting out my own home through a large Agent over a few years, I felt the need for a smaller, more understanding, personal and hands-on approach in servicing both homeowners and guests needs.  I have hand-picked a variety of private self-catering homes in Noordhoek, based on stringent selection criteria.  I know the properties intimately, can match the right home to your specific needs and expectations.  Living and raising my children in Noordhoek has allowed me to establish long-standing relationships with homeowners whereby I am able to negotiate favourable rates. From beautiful holiday homes to restaurants, coffee & quirky shops, beach spots, hiking/biking trails - this area offers many hidden gems that I will share with you to ensure you experience your dream holiday.

I love what I do, and I feel privileged to live in this most beautiful part of Cape Town. Not only is it one of Cape Towns most treasured destinations but it is close to my heart  - where I have brought up my 3 daughters as a single mother.  We have experienced the rich biodiversity of a stunning 8 km beach, an alive ocean where we are challenged with cold, open water swimming, mountains & trails where we walk & run, wetlands, fauna & flora that is so interestingly diverse & spectacular ..... plus we have been part of a chilled community that is family orientated, cares, friendly and will make you feel welcome

Close enough to the CBD and tourist attractions, Noordhoek offers a delightful, rural village atmosphere which I cant wait to share with you!

My business is small and personal,  I ensure all home information/photographs are updated to ensure guest expectations are met. Each homes is well prepared, you will be personally welcomed and there will be 24/7 assistance during your stay.
